Edmund Kealoha "Ed" Parker was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, USA. He was an American martial artist and actor. He began training in the martial arts at a young age in judo and later boxing. Grandmaster Ed Parker met Frank Chow who became his first Kenpo Karate instructor. Later Frank Chow introduced Mr. Parker to his brother Professor William Chow. Mr Parker revived his first degree black belt from Professor Chow in 1953, he later went on to be Mr. Parker’s only instructor. His most notable film was Kill the Golden Goose. In this film, he co-stars with Hapkido master Bong Soo Han.
