Malin Maria Åkerman is a Swedish Canadian actress, model and singer. She is best known as an actress, first making appearances in several Canadian productions. In the early 2000s, she had many television and film parts, including The Utopian Society and Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle. Following a supporting role on the short-lived comedy series The Comeback, Åkerman gained her first starring roles in the feature films The Heartbreak Kid and 27 Dresses.
