Eric Bana was born in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. He is an Australian actor and comedian. He began his career as a comedian in the sketch comedy series Full Frontal before gaining critical recognition in the biographical crime film Chopper. He has since played Hector in the movie Troy, the lead in Steven Spielberg's historical drama and political thriller Munich. He played police sergeant Ralph Sarchie in the horror film Deliver Us from Evil. His other films include: Black Hawk Down, Hulk, Star Trek, and Lone Survivor. He received Australia's highest film and television awards for his performances in Chopper, Full Frontal and Romulus, My Father.
