Bruce Babbitt was born in Flagstaff, Arizona. He is an American politician. He served as United States Secretary of the Interior and as the 16th governor of Arizona, from 1978 to 1987. He graduated from the University of Notre Dame, and attended Newcastle University in the United Kingdom on a Marshall Scholarship, and then received his law degree at Harvard Law School.
