Garrett Morris was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA. He is an American comedian and actor. He was part of the original cast of the sketch comedy program Saturday Night Live, appearing from 1975 to 1980. He also had a long-running role as Junior "Uncle Junior" King on the comedy sitcom The Jamie Foxx Show, which aired from 1996–2001. Currently, he has a starring role as Earl on the CBS sitcom 2 Broke Girls. He had a small role as a police sergeant in The Anderson Tapes and was a cast member in the short lived CBS sitcom, Roll Out. He also appeared as a high school teacher in the 1975 film Cooley High. He graduated from Dillard University in 1958.
