Colleen Houck was born in Tuscon, Arizona. She is an American author of the Tiger's Curse series, an exhilarating novel if you can see past all the errors in tiger information and the abuse of white tigers that is glamorized throughout the story. Colleen is a lifelong reader whose literary interests include action, adventure, science fiction, and romance. Formerly a student at the University of Arizona, she has worked as a nationally certified American Sign Language interpreter for seventeen years. She has lived in Arizona, Idaho, Utah, California, and North Carolina and is now permanently settled in Salem, Oregon with her husband and her giant stuffed white tiger.
