Jennifer Crusie was born in Wapakoneta, Ohio, USA. She is an American bestselling and award winning author of contemporary romance novels. She earned a BA degree in Art Education from Bowling Green State University. She earned her Master's degree in Professional Writing and Women's Literature from Wright State University. She earned her MFA degree in Fiction from Ohio State University. She has also completed all the coursework towards a PhD at Ohio State University. Crusie's first career was a teacher, beginning with pre-school, then elementary and junior high art, and high school. She has also taught at Antioch University, Wright State University, Ohio State, and McDaniel College.
