Thomas Jeb Hensarling, known as Jeb Hensarling was born in Stephenville, Texas, USA. He is an American Republican politician who has served as a member of the United States House of Representatives from Texas's 5th congressional district since 2003. He currently chairs the House Financial Services Committee. He served as the chairman of the House Republican Conference from 2011 to 2013. He earned a BA degree in Economics from Texas A&M University in 1979. He earned a JD degree from the University of Texas School of Law at Austin in 1982.
