Farahad Zama was born in Visakhapatnam, India. He is a Indian-born British novelist. He gained a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Engineering at Kharagpur, near Kolkata. Currently he lives in South London. His first novel 'The Marriage Bureau for Rich People' won the Melissa Nathan Prize for best Comedy Romance Novel. He has written other two novels including The Many Conditions of Love and The Wedding Wallah.
