Jocelyn Murray is an American historical fiction novelist, travel writer and teacher. She is the author of Khu: A Tale of Ancient Egypt, The Roman General (novel), The English Pirate, Shahrazad , as well as the teen historical fantasy fiction series The Gilded Mirror. She has a special interest in history and archaeology which feed her passion for writing. She holds two university master's degrees in both English and Education, along with a bachelor's degree in Economics and European Studies. She also has a teaching credential and taught at the elementary school level.
