He directed several films include: Blood of the Beasts(short documentary film), Hôtel des Invalides(short documentary film), Le Grand Méliès(short documentary film), Head Against the Wall, Eyes Without a Face, Thérèse Desqueyroux, Judex, Thomas the Impostor, and Nuits Rouges.
