François Place is a French writer and illustrator, mainly of children's literature. He studied at the Ecole Estienne. He worked for several years as a freelance illustrator for graphic studios and advertising and professional journals. His first children's book illustrations appear in the Rose Library at Hachette. In 2010 his first novel Youth Flying Customs is distinguished by the magazine read. In 2012, The Secret d'Orbæ awarded the fiction International Fair Children's Book of Bologna.
