Joseph "Joe" Queenan was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA. He is an American journalist and author. He has written for such publications as Spy Magazine, TV Guide, Movieline, The Guardian, The American Spectator, The Weekly Standard, and The New York Times Book Review. He writes the Moving Targets column for the Wall Street Journal. He studied at St. Joseph's University in Philadelphia. He has written several books include: Balsamic Dreams, Red Lobster, White Trash & the Blue Lagoon, Imperial Caddy, Closing Time (memoir), The unkindest cut, My Goodness, Queenan Country, True Believers, Confessions of a Cineplex Heckler, and One for the Books.
