Gregory Bassham is an American author and professor. He earned a B.A. degree in Ethics and Religion from the University of Oklahoma in 1982. He earned a M.A. degree in Philosophy from the University of Oklahoma in 1985. He earned his Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University of Notre Dame in 1991. He served as a Professor of Philosophy at King's College, Pennsylvania from 1999-2005. He has written several books include: The Hobbit and Philosophy, Critical Thinking(co-written with James M. Wallace, Henry Nardone, and William Irwin), The Philosophy Book, The Lord of the Rings and Philosophy, and Basketball and Philosophy.
