Atticus Ronald Shaffer was born in Santa Clarita, California. He is an American actor. He is known for portraying Brick Heck on the ABC sitcom The Middle, as well as voicing Edgar in Frankenweenie. Shaffer suffers from type IV Osteogenesis Imperfecta, a genetic condition inherited from his mother, who has type I.
