Carlos María Domínguez was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He is an Argentine writer and journalist Who Lives in Montevideo since 1989. Began His career in the Argentine magazine Crisis. Afterwards I specialized in literary criticism, joining the Uruguayan weeklies Gap , search , and the culture supplement of El Pais. He is the author of The Paper House, which won the Premio de la Fundación Lolita Rubial, Vienna's Jury of Young Readers Prize. His journalistic articles have been collected in two books: El Compás de Oro and Historias del Polvo y el Camino.
