Andrew Tobias is an American journalist, author, and columnist. His main body of work is on investment, but he has also written on politics, insurance, and other topics. Since 1999, he has been the treasurer of the Democratic National Committee. Tobias graduated from Harvard College in 1968 with a BA in Slavic languages and literatures. In 1972, he obtained his Masters of Business Administration degree from Harvard Business School. During his schooling, he wrote for New York Magazine, and after graduation became a contributing editor. Tobias is also an author.
