James M. Kisner, Jr. was born in Evansville, Indiana, USA. He was an American novelist and short story writer, primarily of horror. He earned a BA degree and an MA degree in English from Indiana University. He wrote several novels include: Nero's Vice, Slice of Life, Strands, Poison Pen, Earthblood, The Quagmire, and Tower of Evil(with Martin James). He wrote several short stories include: Masques 3, Urban Horrors, Hotter Blood, Predators, Vampire Detectives, Southern Blood, and Vampire Slayers.
