Blakney Francis was born in Tuscaloosa, Alabama with a passion for storytelling and football. In college her majors ranged from Communications and Public Relations to Sports Psychology and English before she finally accepted that there was no career that could ever match up to her love of writing. She studied at the University of Alabama and Middle Tennessee State University. Her debut novel Someone I Used to Know was released April 2nd, 2013. Her second novel, a young adult romance, is set to release in late 2014.
