My favorite literature to read is fairly dry history. I like the framework, and my imagination can do the rest.
Andrew Bird Quotes
Maybe it's just, I've always been to the less traveled places, in any topic, whether it's history, I always like to just choose the most obscure topic. And I don't know why I have that impulse. I can't really explain it but I've been doing that since I was a little kid.

Andrew Wegman Bird is an American musician, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist. Bird graduated from Lake Forest High School in 1991 and Northwestern University with a bachelor's degree in violin performance in 1996. That same year he self-released his first solo album, Music of Hair. Both albums were heavily influenced by traditional folk, pre-war jazz, and swing, with Bird relying on the violin as his primary musical instrument, as well as providing vocals along with his trademark verbose lyrics. During this period, Andrew Bird was a member of the jazz group Kevin O'Donnells Quality Six, for which he was the lead singer and violinist and contributed to arrangements and songwriting for the albums Heretic Blues and Control Freak. In 2001, the Bowl of Fire released their third album, The Swimming Hour, a dramatic departure from their previous recordings. In 2014 Andrew Bird's song 'Pulaski at Night' was featured in the season premiere of Orange Is The New Black.
