Freddie Prinze was born in New York City, New York, USA. He was an American actor and stand-up comedian. He was the star of 1970s NBC-TV sitcom Chico and the Man. He was the father of the actor Freddie Prinze, Jr. He also appeared on The Midnight Special to perform his comic routine. In 1976, he starred in a made-for-TV movie, The Million Dollar Rip-Off.
