James Allen "Jim" Nussle was born in Des Moines, Iowa, USA. He is an American Republican politician and lawyer. He served as a member of the United States House of Representatives from Iowa's 2nd district from 1991-2003 and Iowa's 1st district from 2003-2007. He is the president and chief executive officer of the Credit Union National Association. He was the director of the Office of Management and Budget from 2007 to 2009. He was elected an attorney, Delaware County in Manchester from 1986-1990. He earned a BA degree in political science from Luther College, Iowa in 1983. He earned a JD degree from Drake University Law School, Des Moines, Iowa in 1985.
