George Ralph Noory was born in Detroit, Michigan, USA. He is an American radio personality and writer. Since January 2003, he has been the weekday host of the late-night radio talk show Coast to Coast AM. He has also appeared in the History channel series Ancient Aliens. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in 1972. He began his radio career as a newscaster with Detroit station WCAR-AM. From 1974–1978 he worked as a news producer and executive news producer at WJBK-TV in Detroit. He would later serve as news director for KMSP-TV in Minneapolis and as news director at KSDK-TV in St. Louis. He won three local Emmy Awards for his work in TV news. He has written several books include: Worker in the Light, Talking to the Dead(with Rosemary Ellen Guiley), George Noory's Late-Night Snacks(with William J. Birnes), Journey to the Light(with William J. Birnes), and Night Talk: A Novel.
