Bernard Liautaud is a French businessman. He continued his studies in America with a Master of Science, Engineering Management at the Stanford University. He then became attached scientific assistant in the Office of Science and representative of the ANVAR at the Embassy of France in Washington between 1985 and 1986. In 1986 he returned to France and takes responsibility for the marketing activities of ' Oracle Corporation France. In 1990 he founded, together with Denis Payre , Business Objects , an editor software . In 1994, Business Objects goes public and becomes the first European company listed on NASDAQ. In less than ten years, he has made his company a multinational with over 12,000 customers and weighing approximately CHF 2.5 billion in revenue. In 2001, Bernard Liautaud is among the top ten business leaders of the ranking list of the magazine CEO Chief Executive and is today, according to Intelligent Enterprise , along with Microsoft , Oracle and SAP , the 12 most influential companies in the field of information technology .
