Brad Sherman is an American politician. He has been a Democratic member of the United States House of Representatives since 1997. He currently represents California's 30th congressional district within the San Fernando Valley, in Los Angeles County, California. Sherman previously represented the 27th, and 24th congressional districts in Los Angeles County. He currently resides in Sherman Oaks. He received a B.A. from University of California, Los Angeles in 1974 and a J.D. from Harvard Law School Magna Cum Laude in 1979.
