John Ellis O'Neill is an American Vietnam War veteran, lawyer and the spokesman for Swift Vets and POWs for Truth. He graduated with a law degree from the University of Texas in 1973 and was a member of Texas Law Review during 1972-1973. He was admitted to the Texas bar in 1974, clerking for Supreme Court Justice William H. Rehnquist in 1974 and 1975. He subsequently returned to Texas to practice law, specializing in commercial litigation. He later co-founded the law firm Clements, O’Neill, Pierce, Wilson, and Fulkerson in Houston. He has written several books include: Unfit for Command (with Jerome Corsi) and Coaching for the Kids.
