Catherine Anne O'Hara was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. She is a Canadian-American actress, comedian and writer. She is well known for her comedy work on SCTV and her roles in the films After Hours, Beetlejuice, and For Your Consideration. She won the Genie Award for Best Supporting Actress for the 1999 film The Life Before This, and received an Emmy Award nomination for the 2010 TV film Temple Grandin. On June 9, 2007, O'Hara was inducted into Canada's Walk of Fame.
