Ehud Olmert was born in Binyamina-Giv'at Ada, British Mandate of Palestine. He is an Israeli politician and lawyer. He served as Prime Minister of Israel from 2006 to 2009. He served as mayor of Jerusalem from 1993 to 2003. He graduated from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem with degrees in psychology, philosophy and law. He opened a successful law partnership in Jerusalem.
