John Leonard "Johnny" Olson was born in Windom, Minnesota, USA. He was an American radio personality and game show host. He studied at the University of Minnesota. His first network job on radio was in New York City in 1944, announcing the musical game show, Ladies Be Seated, a stunt game along the lines of Truth or Consequences broadcast on the NBC Blue radio network. He hosted several game shows, including To Tell the Truth, What's My Line?, Match Game, and The Price Is Right. He hosted several other shows, including Doorway to Fame (talent show), Johnny Olson's Rumpus Room (variety show), and Kids and Company (children's show).
