He directed several films include: Boyz n the Hood (Nominated- Academy Award for Best Director), Poetic Justice, Higher Learning, Rosewood, Shaft, Baby Boy, 2 Fast 2 Furious, Four Brothers, and Abduction. He produced several films include: Higher Learning, Shaft, Baby Boy, Hustle & Flow, Black Snake Moan, and Illegal Tender. He has written several films include: Boyz n the Hood (Nominated- Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay), Poetic Justice, Higher Learning, Shaft, and Baby Boy.
