Dorothee Solle was born in Köln, Germany. She was a German theologian, writer, teacher, and poet. As a theological writer and speaker, she was known and controversial world. Solle was one of the most prominent representatives of "other Protestantism". They criticized the idea of omnipotence God and tried in their writings, everyday life experiences, particularly of suffering, poverty, discrimination and oppression, to link with theological content.
