Clifford Bundy "Cliff" Stearns, Sr. was born in Washington, D.C.. He is an American politician. He was the U.S. Representative for Florida's 6th congressional district, serving from 1989 to 2013. He is a member of the Republican Party. He was educated at Woodrow Wilson High School, and later earned a degree in electrical engineering from George Washington University. Stearns owned a small chain of motels and restaurants in northern Florida.
