Harry Edward Melling was born in London, England. He is an English actor, best known for playing Dudley Dursley in the Harry Potter films. He trained at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art and starred in productions such as The Provoked Wife, King John, Antigone, Plenty and Sisterhood. In 2009, he made his stage debut in a revival of Mother Courage and her Children at the Royal National Theatre.
