Brian McKnight was born in Buffalo, New York. He is an American R&B singer-songwriter, arranger, producer and musician. He is a multi-instrumentalist who plays eight instruments including piano, guitar, bass guitar, percussion, trombone, tuba, flugelhorn and trumpet.
