Jane Dee Hull was born in Kansas City, Missouri, USA. She is an American politician. She served as Governor of Arizona from 1997-2003. She is a member of the Republican Party. She earned a BA degree in Elementary Education from the University of Kansas. In 1978, she was elected to her first political office, as a member of the Arizona House of Representatives. She served for seven terms, including two as Speaker of the House, the first female Speaker in Arizona history. In 1994, she was elected to the office of Secretary of State of Arizona. She is married to Terry Hull, a retired obstetrician. They have four children.
