Jon McGregor was born in Bermuda. He is a British novelist and short story writer. He studied at the University of Bradford. He has written several novels include: If Nobody Speaks of Remarkable Things (Won- Somerset Maugham Award and Betty Trask Award, longlisted for the Booker Prize in 2002), So Many Ways to Begin (longlisted for the Booker Prize in 2006), Even the Dogs (Won- International Dublin Literary Award in 2012), and Reservoir 13 (Won- Costa Book Award in 2017, longlisted for the Booker Prize in 2017). He has written several short story collections include: This Isn't the Sort of Thing That Happens to Someone Like You, and The Reservoir Tapes.
