Jefferson Bingham Miller was born in St. Petersburg, Florida, USA. He is an American Republican politician who served as the U.S. Representatives for Florida's 1st congressional district from 2001 to 2017. He was a member of the Florida House of Representatives from 1998 to 2001. He earned a BA degree in Journalism from the University of Florida in 1984. He was a real estate broker and a deputy sheriff before taking public office.
