Jefferson Beauregard Sessions III was born in Selma, Alabama, USA. He is an American Republican politician and lawyer who is the 84th Attorney General of the United States. He served as U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Alabama from 1981 to 1993. He served as the 44th Attorney General of Alabama from 1995-1997. He served as the United States Senator from Alabama from January 3, 1997- February 8, 2017. He earned a BA degree from Huntingdon College in 1969. He earned a JD degree from the University of Alabama School of Law in 1973.
