Jon Ferguson Cox "Jay" Mohr was born in Verona, New Jersey, USA. He is an American actor and comedian. He is known for his role as Professor Rick Payne in the TV series Ghost Whisperer from 2006–2008, the title role in the CBS sitcom Gary Unmarried from 2008–2010, as a featured cast member on the sketch comedy show Saturday Night Live from 1993–1995 and the back-stabbing sports agent Bob Sugar in Jerry Maguire. His role in several films include: Picture Perfect, Paulie, Small Soldiers, Playing by Heart, Go, The Adventures of Pluto Nash, Street Kings, Hereafter, and The Incredible Burt Wonderstone. He is the author of book, entitled Gasping for Airtime(memoir).
