Iyad Allawi was born in Adhamiyah, Baghdad, Iraq. He is an Iraqi politician. Allawi's first name is sometimes rendered as Iyad or Eyad. He earned his MD degree from London University. He was a Vice President of Iraq from 2014 to 2015 and interim Prime Minister of Iraq from 2004 to 2005.
