Henry Madison Morris was born in Dallas, Texas, USA. He was an American young Earth creationist, Christian apologist, civil engineer, professor and writer. He was one of the founders of the Creation Research Society and the Institute for Creation Research. He is considered by many to be "the father of modern creation science." He is widely known for coauthoring The Genesis Flood with John C. Whitcomb in 1961. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from Rice University in 1939. He wrote several books include: The Genesis Flood(with John C. Whitcomb), Scientific Creationism, The Genesis record, Science and the Bible, Men of science, men of God, Remarkable Record of Job, Biblical Creationism, Treasures in the Psalms, and The Remarkable Wisdom of Solomon.
