Hans Michael Frank was born in Karlsruhe, Baden, Germany. He was a German lawyer and politician who worked for the Nazi Party during the 1920s and 1930s, and later became Hitler's personal lawyer. After the invasion of Poland, he became Nazi Germany's chief jurist in the occupied Poland "General Government" territory. He graduated from high school at the renowned Maximilians gymnasium in Munich, and age of seventeen, joined the German army fighting in World War I, barely reaching front line combat.
