Enrique Martín Morales, commonly known as Ricky Martin was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He is a Puerto Rican singer and actor. He began his career at age twelve with the all-boy pop group Menudo. After five years with the group, he released several Spanish-language solo albums throughout the 1990s. He is known for such solo pop hits as "Livin' La Vida Loca" and "She Bangs." His other studio albums include: Me Amarás, A Medio Vivir, Vuelve, Sound Loaded, Almas del Silencio, Life, and A Quien Quiera Escuchar. He also acted on stage and on TV in Mexico, becoming a modest star in the country. In 1994 he starred on the American TV soap opera General Hospital. His other TV series include: The Love Boat, Getting By, Barefoot in Paradise, and Dancing with the Stars.
