James J. Cramer was born in Pennsylvania, USA. He is an American television presenter, investor, lawyer, journalist, businessman and best-selling author. He is the host of CNBC's Mad Money and a co-founder of TheStreet, Inc. He co-hosted CNBC's television program Kudlow & Cramer with Lawrence Kudlow in the early 2000s. He earned a BA degree in government from Harvard College in 1977. He earned a JD degree from Harvard Law School in 1984. He began his involvement with journalism in college, where he was the President and Editor-in-chief of The Harvard Crimson. In 1978, he worked for the Tallahassee Democrat in Tallahassee, Florida. He worked as a journalist for the Los Angeles Herald-Examiner. He was one of the first reporters at American Lawyer. He has written several books include: Confessions of a Street Addict, Jim Cramer's Real Money, Jim Cramer's Mad Money, Jim Cramer's Stay Mad for Life, Jim Cramer's Getting Back to Even, and Jim Cramer's Get Rich Carefully.
