Frederick Aaron "Fred" Savage was born in Highland Park, Illinois, USA. He is an American actor, TV director, and TV producer. He is best known for his role as Kevin Arnold in the American television series The Wonder Years. His role in several films include: The Boy Who Could Fly, The Princess Bride, Little Monsters, The Wizard, The Rules of Attraction, Austin Powers in Goldmember, and Welcome to Mooseport. He has served as a producer for several episodes of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Party Down, and Phil of the Future. In 2007, he made his feature film directing debut with the film Daddy Day Camp. He has directed for prime-time network sitcoms including Modern Family and 2 Broke Girls. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in English from Stanford University in 1999.
