Jon Stevens Corzine was born in Taylorville, Illinois, USA. He is an American businessman and Democratic politician. He served as the United States Senator from New Jersey (2001 to 2006). He served as the 54th Governor of New Jersey from 2006 to 2010. He also worked as CEO of Goldman Sachs during the 1990s and was CEO of MF Global from 2010 to 2011. He earned a BA degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1969. While in college, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps Reserve and served from 1969 until 1975, attaining the rank of sergeant. He earned an MBA degree from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business in 1973.
