John Cameron Fogerty was born in Berkeley, California, USA. He is an American guitarist, singer and songwriter. He was the lead singer, lead guitarist and principal songwriter of the band Creedence Clearwater Revival. The group had nine top-ten singles and eight gold albums between 1968-1972. He has written several songs include: "Proud Mary", "Born on the Bayou", "Who'll Stop the Rain", "Down on the Corner", "Bad Moon Rising", "Green River", and "Fortunate Son". His albums list shown below: The Blue Ridge Rangers, John Fogerty, Centerfield, Eye of the Zombie, Blue Moon Swamp (Won- Grammy Award for best rock album in 1998), Deja Vu All Over Again, Revival, The Blue Ridge Rangers Rides Again, and Wrote a Song for Everyone. He was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1998. He was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2005.
