Jennifer Jill Dunn was born in Seattle, Washington, USA. She was an American Republican politician. She served as member of the United States House of Representatives from Washington's 8th congressional district from 1993–2005. She studied at Bellevue High School and the University of Washington. She earned a BA degree in English Literature from Stanford University in 1963. She was chair of the Washington State Republican Party from 1981 to 1992 and twice a delegate to the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women.
