He was Newsweek's Chief Political Correspondent, Senior Editor and Deputy Washington Bureau Chief. He began his journalism career at The Louisville Courier-Journal. Fineman's work has also appeared in The New York Times, The Washington Post, and The New Republic. He earned a B.A. degree from Colgate University.
