James Edward "Jim" Doyle, Jr. was born in Washington, D.C., USA. He is an American democratic politician and attorney who served as the 44th Governor of Wisconsin from 2003 to 2011. He is currently an attorney 'of counsel' in the Madison, Wisconsin office of the law firm of Foley & Lardner. He studied at Stanford University and the University of Wisconsin–Madison. In 1972, he earned his JD degree from Harvard Law School. He served as Attorney General of Wisconsin from 1991-2003.
